My mission is to help you and your baby heal from any birth trauma or as an adult, any life imprints that may hold you back that have caused pain. I want you to leave your session feeling better, and my priority is your overall health. I am passionate about sourcing the root cause rather than just treating a symptom.
When my youngest son was born with a mild cerebral palsy, I searched for something to help his condition.
I found that Cranio sacral therapy helped support mind, body and spirit.
I am a fully qualified and accredited Cranio-Sacral Therapist based in Marlow Buckinghamshire. My area of speciality is working with the nervous system and related conditions such as anxiety, insomnia, tinnitus, post-traumatic stress disorder, birth trauma and also some behavioural disorders such as ADHD and ADD.
I am registered with the regulatory body The Cranio-Sacral Therapy Association (CSTA). I completed my two year diploma in 2010 with the renowned therapists Graham Kennedy and Matthew Appleton from the Institute of Cranio Sacral Studies. I am also an aromatherapist; reflexologist and reiki practitioner and can combine the therapies to create bespoke treatments according to the individual needs.
I have worked as a health and well being therapist for over 30 years. I lecture anatomy and physiology to level 3 NVQ beauty therapy students, ensuring they have a foundation knowledge as to how the body systems work.
Having found this therapy profoundly healing on a personal level, I went on to study CST. I have been able to integrate my anatomy and physiology knowledge alongside this work.
I have 3 adult children, so having given birth myself enables me to understand empathically the birth experience as a mother, and the importance of mother child connection. I have studied and worked in sessions to actively understand birth from a baby's perspective especially where there is long term trauma and ongoing issues that birth experience may have imprinted.
